People wanted another one, so...
PANFANDOM REC MEME
"I ship it!"
"I want fic!"
"I want art!"
"I don't care what it is, but I want it!"
"Where's the fandom?"
Rec meme! You ask for recs, and others provide (or fill!).
Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.
Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either! Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?
TEXTBOX (optional, dont worry):
Regular post will be up at the usual time!

BBC Sherlock - SFW/gen Johnlock
(Anonymous) 2012-08-18 07:19 pm (UTC)(link)Preferred Medium: Fic, but art's fine too
Preferred Genre: Gen/friendship
Characters/Pairings: Sherlock/John that's gen/friendshippy/doesn't involve smut.
Anything else? Details? I am new to this fandom so I have like no idea what the good stuff is.
Also if there exists f/f r63 of them that is more than okay too.Re: BBC Sherlock - SFW/gen Johnlock
Sweet as Honey

(Anonymous) 2012-08-18 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)Probably the best that I've read so far. Lengthy, gen, great characterization, OCs that are interesting, and a culprit who's actually not immediately obvious. Written before Season 2.

Re: BBC Sherlock - SFW/gen Johnlock
Both are gen and slightly connected, but you can read them as standalone fics or out of order. What makes them so special to me is that they hit one of my most bulletproof kinks: competence! John, Sarah, Sherlock, Lestrade, Mycroft...they are all so good at what they do, and

Her most popular one (the one I see recced the most places) is "It's Complicated" http://r-scribbles.livejournal.com/508970.html
flawedamythyst is a really good Sherlock/John author that has very little smut. I am extremely fond of her "Elephants in the Room 'verse" (http://archiveofourown.org/series/10332) as well as her "Horse and Carriage 'verse" (http://archiveofourown.org/series/6433)
Both of those authors have written a lot of other stuff too so I think that's enough to get you started :D
