Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either! Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

I've gotten a lot of praise for this one. They are a couple in this, but it's a little day-in-the-life thing with no smut.

Any Sherlock fic by r scribbles that focuses on Sherlock and John (she usually writes it like canon). She just writes them really well and actually just writes well in general and her stories are wonderful and (if they're humor based) really hilarious.

flawedamythyst is a really good Sherlock/John author that has very little smut. I am extremely fond of her "Elephants in the Room 'verse" (http://archiveofourown.org/series/10332) as well as her "Horse and Carriage 'verse" (http://archiveofourown.org/series/6433)

Both of those authors have written a lot of other stuff too so I think that's enough to get you started :D
