People wanted another one, so...

PANFANDOM REC MEME

"I ship it!"
"I want fic!"
"I want art!"
"I don't care what it is, but I want it!"
"Where's the fandom?"

Rec meme! You ask for recs, and others provide (or fill!).

Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either! Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

If you hadn't read it yet, I can recommend Wandering Child:

http://norsekink.livejournal.com/8802.html?thread=18193250#t18193250

The prompt was that the Avengers discover Loki is underage and see his actions in a new light. They do discover he's been abused and Odin comes off pretty horrible, BUT, and that's a big but, Loki is still held very much responsible for his actions and they don't immediately forgive him. In fact, it is now still in progress and 72 chapters in and he still haven't been forgiven by all of them. Plus, almost every character that is shown to be bad later turns out to look more like a victim of circumstances, so… I just recommend it. It's very thorough.

Seconding this rec. It's very very long, unfinished and so detailed. It really gets into things.

As a note to the OP looking for fic, this is the reason the above recced fic didn't appeal to me personally. Just an FYI.

It was a decent fic until the Loki stans ruined it for me in that wank. I had some problems with the story even before they started their white knighting but despite that, it was still an enjoyable read, and I also liked that the A!A treated criticism really gracefully, but the stans left a really sour taste in my mouth (and dear god, it's like that story lured the most annoying and unbearable users out from their caves, and it seems like they are still unable to understand that Norse mythology =/= Marvel Movieverse).

Ugh, I know what you mean. They almost ruined it for me too, but i ended up ignoring all the comments that came in.

That said, it's a really good fic and realistically portrayed. I felt that the 'bad due to victim of circumstances' was pretty realistic, since no one's forgiven for being bad due to their situation.
