Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Have you read Auf Wiedersehen, Sweetheart? It's easily the most popular GerIta story in the fandom and really well written and emotional. It's a WW2 human!AU, and the author has several companion fics taking place in the same universe:

I don't have a link to it, but you should search for a doujinshi called Der erste Stern. It has four parts, all of which have been translated into English. It's absolutely gorgeous and beautiful.

I wish I could rec more, but GerIta is usually just a background pairing in the fics that I read.

Interesting. I never noticed Prussia very much but I also saw never the anime and only have the first three mangas. Will he play later a bigger role?

I haven't read more than two volumes of the manga yet and didn't finish all of the anime, but he has some nice apperances in the web comic version.

Per Amore. WWII era. It's pretty fluffy, but still a realistic take on the pairing considering the time period. It is not AU.
