Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Anything else? Details? All the fic I find is like deaf fetish porn, and it makes me sad. Anything where the characters are more than just a stereotype would be amazing.

I couldn't think of another way to describe it, but a lot of the fic is like all the characters fawning over the deaf one(s) and being all "omg you're so amazing" "omg you're so strong" "omg how do you keep living when you're deaf?"

and full of shit like that. it's just gross.

If you don't mind self-recs or pre-slash (though it could also be read as friendship), I wrote this short fic soon after the show started. The basic premise is that Toby learns some sign language, but Emmett still doesn't think much of 'hearing boys'. This is before Bay/Emmett and their adorableness, which I hope they work out in S2.
