Rec meme! You ask for recs, and others provide (or fill!).

Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either! Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

You know what, I will never get a better chance to pimp this out, so I will go ahead and recommend the Greywalker series by Kat Richardson. Seven books, urban fantasy/mystery (she's a private eye that kind of gets roped into a secondary job as a troubleshooter for the spiritual community after she dies for two minutes and comes back with the ability to see ghosts), and she's very good at her job. Unfortunately no family emphasis, but there's a sidekick crew that keep coming back now and then that are awesome, and the romance is decidedly secondary. Probably notable for being one of the few urban fantasy series with a female protagonist that isn't dating a vampire or a werewolf, actually.
