People wanted another one, so...

PANFANDOM REC MEME

"I ship it!"
"I want fic!"
"I want art!"
"I don't care what it is, but I want it!"
"Where's the fandom?"

Rec meme! You ask for recs, and others provide (or fill!).

Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either! Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

I'm trying to motivate my self to learn to play the piano, does anyone know any good manga or books that involve piano playing? Thanks :)

There's La Corda d'Oro, wherein the main character gets a magical violin and is entered into a school-wide competition with other musical prodigies (flute, trumpet, cello, clarinet, piano, and another violin). I recommend it because it really gets the ~FEELINGS~ of wanting to play music. It made me miss playing French Horn, even though none of the characters even play that. :)

There's also Nodame Cantabile, which focuses on college-age musicians. I personally found the manga a little boring, but others seem to love it a lot. I might give the anime a try at some point; I may like that better. >_> Unlike the manga for La Corda d'Oro, I couldn't really "hear" the music that the characters were playing with this manga. It's a favorite of a lot of people, so you should try it for yourself.

And very lastly, Ouran High School Host Club has a character who plays piano, though it isn't often showcased. It's a good manga besides that, but it's really not all that focused on music.

The only one I know of that hasn't been mentioned yet is Venus Capriccio, but it's kind of shojou as all hell, so if you're into that...

I highly recommend Piano no Mori: The Perfect World of Kai by Makoto Isshiki!

Good luck!
