Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

You're not alone! I have been thinking the exact same thing, so I've got a huge grin on my face right now. Aaaalso, I've actually been working on a Gunner/Barney fic for quite some time now -- I'm shit when it comes to finishing stories, but I'm determined to get this one done before the sequel hits the cinemas over here (in three days time). So thanks for this comment; it was exactly the incentive I needed!

I finished the fic (http://galerian-ash.livejournal.com/57346.html) earlier today, and finally worked up the courage to let you guys know about it! I sincerely hope you can enjoy it at least a little bit; I've truly appreciated your encouragement and don't wanna let you down *bites nails*

I think I know what you see in this pair, and more power to you! But personally I think Gunnar: the character, needs a bit more menace/pain - than Barney is comfortable delivering - from his lovers. But I'd read Barney/Gunnar, for sure. (Why is there so little Expendables fic overall? ;_;)

ETA: Ah, but there is at least this one: "Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda" by Dien http://archiveofourown.org/works/138618 It's gen, but with both Gunnar and Barney.
