People wanted another one, so...

PANFANDOM REC MEME

"I ship it!"
"I want fic!"
"I want art!"
"I don't care what it is, but I want it!"
"Where's the fandom?"

Rec meme! You ask for recs, and others provide (or fill!).

Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either! Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

Preferred Medium: Movies/TV Shows/Books
Preferred Genre: Any
Anything else? Details?
I'm looking for fiction centered around survival and human instincts and how much we'll fight to live. (For example, I loved: The Grey, Buried, and 127 Hours) Any recs?

The movie Alive is a 1993 biographical survival drama film based upon the true-life story of a Uruguayan rugby team who were involved in the crash of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, which crashed into the Andes mountains - or you could read the book it’s based on a Piers Paul Read's book Alive: The Story of the Andes Survivors.

There’s the TV show I Shouldn’t Be Alive, which is a documentary series that features accounts of individuals and groups caught in dangerous scenarios, presented both through interviews and dramatic reenactments. The main focus is how the survivors survived and the decisions they made that kept them alive.

There was a TV movie called The Day After, the inhabitants of a small town in Kansas struggle with life after a nuclear strike. There was also a TV show called Jericho with a similar premise.

There's Out of The Dark, about an alien invasion that wipes out most of humanity in mere days, and the aliens think it's a victory, only to discover that human beings don't give up nearly that easily. There's a very weak M. Shyamalan supernatural twist ending that's made it unpopular (as you can tell from the review scores), but before that happens, I found it a very satisfying exploration of human refusal to surrender to impossible odds.
