I'll admit that I end up shipping everyone when I watch 1776, but I can't do that with the actual historical figures. Except for July 4, 2011, when an LJ friend linked me to a bunch of manga-esque slashy pictures of the Founding Fathers. I squeed the hardest when I got to a Washington/Lafayette picture. Even then, it's something I do in passing; the hardcore fangirling for them scares me a bit.
