That's not stupid, I imagine a lot of people feel that way. :) Hell, I'm a white girl with brown hair and brown eyes and I always felt left-out listening to songs about beautiful blondes. (Not really any more, but when I was younger.)

I remember this one country song where the guy was expecting to get with a blue-eyed girl, blah blah blah, but then he was surprised to find himself falling in love with a girl with... GREEN eyes! Pissed me off.

I think if anyone assumes that they're quite silly - there's so many different ways to connect to the internet now, and a lot of people assume everyone has a phone/other device that can do it. And I can't imagine, even if they did, that they would judge you for it - I've certainly spent enough time this summer with my laptop!

While I don't think it would be OOC, I think the fans are deluding themselves. They're not going to be canon. It's a new thing for shows with significant slash following. They're going to tease, drop hints...and then go the absolutelly regular way every other show does.

When Oscar François de Jarjayes from Rose of Versailles died I lit a candle, put it on a plate and let it float on our indoor swimming pool to commemorate her passing. I did this for several years on the date I watched that episode.

I would feel ashamed but all I have to do not to go online and check out pictures and videos from Ianto Jones' shrine in Cardiff to know it's not just me.

I think they made some good adaptations decisions.
