That movie is dumb as beans.

JGL's character would have been way more convincing had he said "I noticed the obvious parallels in your social activity/disappeances with Batman's and it all made sense." Noticing his face being a mask made no sense since Bruce doesn't actually think he's Batman-- nor does he even look angry as Batman most of the time. He looks more like he wants to kiss people awkwardly.

Haha! I just realized he made the ultimate "you're face" joke.

Bruce: Why do you think I'm Batman?
Inception Cop: You're face!
Bruce: But I wear a mask...
Inception Cop: So you admit it!
Bruce: Damn. You got me.
Inception Cop: Ha! In your angry face!
Bruce: D: I'm gonna go cry some more! Dead people I love!!!

Maybe Bruce Wayne made his model fishy-kiss face when visiting those orphans?

That's mildly disturbing because, as you put it, that face just makes him look like he wants to awkwardly kiss people.

Who did he want to kiss?

He wants to kiss YOU (the audience). He is so... desperate... for... the kisses. That's why he talks with awkward breathing pauses, obviously. I think he's confusing vengeance for lust.
