Mate, he also had what 4 months to break out and come up with a plan and what did his plan end up being? Punching Bane in the face and yelling 'WHERE'S THE TRIGGER'. That was 3 or 4 months worth of planning. WELL DONE, BATMAN.

You forgot the part where his main battle strategy was sending a mass of unarmed cops, who have been undernourished and living in subpar freezing conditions for the last few months, just running straight at the men armed with machine guns.

It did not work in WWI. It will not work here.
