Yeah coming in to say the same—I absolutely keep my grocery list on my phone, so I'm always looking at it while in the store.

I don't have a smart phone. My phone makes phone calls, and that is it. I can't even text. It's not by choice, but that's how it is.

When I see someone tapping at their phone in the store, I don't think "grocery list". In their car, I don't think "Google maps". In the middle of a college class that they paid a lot of money for, I don't think "reading the lecture notes on the website."

I think "addicted to Facebook". That's just how it is.

So … you judge people based on your assumptions of what they're doing? That sounds giantly unfair, but whatever, if that's what makes you happy.

Just fyi the other day I was walking around (and yes, accidentally bumping into a few people) London on my phone. Not because I was on Facebook, but because I was ACTUALLY on Google Maps.

Believe it or not, having a GPS out with you in a massive, unfamiliar city, when you are in a GREAT hurry happens to be of some use to people.
