Most songwriters don't write love/broken hearted songs about the general public but write about the personal "girl who got away" stories.
And I am also trying to think of how many "blonde, blued eyed girl" songs are out there. I know there are few but off the top of my head, I can't think of any. The one song that keeps looping in my head, in fact, is "Brown eyed girl" by Van Morrison. Okay, the Beach Boys had that lyric, "Bushy, bushy blonde hairdo, Surfin' USA." But, again, I am drawing a blank.

Dudes. I like dudes. But anyway it reminds me of people saying Michael Jackson's kids can't possibly be his because Paris has blue eyes. Well so does Joe Jackson, Michael's father.
