No problem. I mean, you can criticize the portrayal of women in the media all you want but straight up saying that having female leads is Just Not Done? Complete and utter bullshit. There are a lot of pretty popular shows lasting several seasons that have a strong focus on female characters. Are all the shows on the list a shining example of feminism? I seriously doubt it. But having women as main characters isn't exactly taboo. Like, at all.
