I'm the same in that I never liked how he was treated. However, because of this I refused to watch the cartoon or read the comics. Imagine my chagrin when I had to perform in the musical in middle school.

But you must have enjoyed some aspect of it? You may have not liked that part but maybe something else redeemed it for you?
