I agree. Considering how the princesses who aren't white get far less merch than those who are (With the exception of Tiana).

I also don't feel like they did a horribly good job with some of their movies. Pocahontas was...very odd, and Esmerelda was a stereotype. I don't trust them to do something like this that won't be offensive, for lack of a better word.

and then I realized the fact that you forgot Jasmine probably highlights her big flaw

Then again, I kind of only find the renaissance ones to be generally memorable and likeable anyways.

I really like Jasmine. I adored her when I was a child. I had her doll, and I brushed her hair every day!

I think people forget she's not white, actually. Mostly because the setting wasn't as...period as Pocahontas, Princess and the Frog, or Mulan.

The reason Mulan and Pocahontas don't get as much attention is: A) lack of flowy dresses, and B) their movies never did as well as the others.

doesn't help that half the time they make Jasmine look way paler than she is in the movie in official merch

it doesn't help that she's not the main character in her film, aladdin is. all the other princesses are pretty much the main character.
