I saw that post too. I saw them as more apologizing for "paraphrasing without screencaps and then after getting called out on the inaccuracy accusing the people of editing their posts". They haven't apologized for this. They very badly paraphrased people and then hid what the people really said under the cut. They won't be deleting this one because they can hide the attack under "interpretation" and actually having the screencapped posts there... out of context.

Ick. Wow, those really ARE bad paraphrases. I guess I shouldn't expect much out of a SJW on tumblr.

The best part is that the screen caps, what the people really said, are hidden behind a cut.

Well, I think they did that because of space/load times, since you can have a ton of pictures on your dashboard at once on tumblr. Still a horrible job with the paraphrasing though.

Probably but it makes it even more convenient for them.

Maybe, but a buch of static screencaps are nothing compared to a few high-res gifs. And unless you're really picky about who you follow, you're likely to get a bunch of gifs on a typical dashboard load.

The amount of scroll, possibly? I'm probably being overly charitable here, but I know that I make a point of using cuts if my posts exceed a certain vertical length, even if they're nothing but text.
