Anyway, for things to cheer you up now...
* If you like improv, gsntv.com has clips and episodes of Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza, which is essentially Whose Line Is It Anyway as a Vegas show. The cast changes from episode to episode.
* On Netflix, I'm watching SeaQuest, which is often described as Star Trek (TNG) in a submarine.
* Parks And Recreation is also streaming. I didn't watch in season one because of what I thought was an intense dislike of Amy Poehler. I came in during season two for Rob Lowe though, and realized I just didn't like Poehler on SNL (or horrible movies). Season One is still hit or miss for me, but it got really good in season two.
* If you like darker humor, Wilfred is OK, but it's definitely not family friendly.
* I like Sports Night, but it can definitely go in the dramedy direction from time to time.
* I've never seen Louis, but I do like Louis C.K., and Netflix says its similar to Arrested Development.
And, that's pretty much all I've got.

I used to watch Whose Line, so I'll definitely try the Drew Carey improv! And thanks for reminding me about Louie, I've been recc'd it before, and keep forgetting about it for some reason.
My brother's a Wilfred fan, so I might give it a go- he and I don't always have overlapping tastes, but if nothing else I would have someone to talk to about it.
I've only seen the pilot for Parks and Rec which left me cold, but I'll try skipping to season two if it picks up.
And I'll add SeaQuest and Sports Night to my queue. Thanks so much for all the suggestions!
