Speaking as a British person, this is something I've noticed about American culture... and it's starting to spill over here too, even though black people aren't even the biggest racial minority.

Though that said I don't think OP said anywhere in their secret that Tiana was the first.

Yeah, I misread the secret, thus I deleted my post.

I thought they said "now that we have a princess of color".

Bleh, reading comprehension fail on my part. Although, I have seen that attitude expressed more than once and it does irk me so.

Yeah, I'm all for black representation in the media and I think black people should get more roles but all I ever see is people saying "omg we need more black characters"...when black people actually get WAY more representation than a lot of other minorities.
