(Anonymous) 2012-08-23 01:14 am (UTC)(link)OP, my experience is kinda similar to yours. I haven't heard of that site (and honestly, I don't want to google it, because it will just make me depressed for the rest of the day).
Just speaking generally - the internet has changed the way I look at guys. Because the amount of hate for women that I see everywhere has made me wonder if that's what men really think. It's made me wonder if maybe the only reason they don't abuse me to my face is because of societal pressure, and through anonymity they can express their hatred of women, and other minorities.
My guy friends are mostly gamers and internet nerds, and I can't look at them the same way, wondering if they think I'm less of a human being.
