(Anonymous) 2012-08-23 01:41 am (UTC)(link)I'm awkward in social situations... but if you get me with the right people, I can be very talkative and loud. (Sometimes I end up embarassing myself by giving my life story to people when I first meet them... I've learned to stop doing that.)
You're just shy. But the good news? You'll get better at it the more you talk to people. Every social situation is an opportunity to level up!
Several years ago, I hardly spoke to people at all. Now I have a group of friends and I can make small talk. You're not alone. :)
