It's from the Terminator TV series that was on a few years ago, The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Summer Glau played a Terminator named Cameron sent from the future by John Connor to protect his teenage self. The quote is something her character in Firefly said that I felt was appropriate, considering Cameron would pretty much "die" (in as much as a Terminator can die) to protect John. It was a really good series and Summer was the highlight, but it unfortunately only got 2 seasons.
