This happens to me a lot. I get into a fandom, I lurk around in it and read/watch ALL the canon (or... well, I cherry-pick it, actually), read ALL the fic, read ALL the meta, and then lose interest in it...

...and lose interest in everything else at the same time. I call such episodes my fandom-change crises, because after a while I do pick up something new to do. But it suuuuuuuucks at the time. Doesn't matter if I've only been in a fandom for a few weeks, or if I've been there for months on end - if I don't have a new fandom interrupt me before I lose interest in the old, then it just. It sucks. So bad.
