And let's not forget the part where Misha would be totally onboard, being the stellar troll that he is. I love that he views this fandom as, like, the world's most epic social experiment, because I do too. I will say I don't think it's most fans who are that insane, just the vocal minority. I mean, I'd truly like to think that the average fan is not a J2 tinhat, right? But the point is that said minority would get REALLY REALLY REALLY vocal if either pairing so much as held hands or whatever, and I would enjoy it oh-so-much.

Yeah but is the average fan even still visibly participating in SPN fandom? It was getting harder and harder to find them so I bailed a while back. The main incident that convinced me out was making a new friend who seemed pretty rational at first who suddenly went all "Let's photoshop their faces onto porn actors bodies and send the actors the results!" and then having some other people I thought were cool be all "LOL! They'll totally suddenly realize how in love they are and the show will be forced to realize our pairing!" If you guys were hiding out somewhere I am very disappointed. :(

Though I also kind of bailed because I was losing interest in the show as well.

Yeah, Misha would not help. Oh, no he would not. Which now makes me want Dean/Sam to see the crap he would pull to rile up his fangirls. :D
