Cause she got in the way of the McShep juggernaut, really. With both of them kind of sort of, but Keller more since she had the audacity to actually date Rodney in canon.

Although I like the pairing and Keller both, so. I also like how she was never afraid to tell Rodney off when he was being an idiot.
