I actually fell asleep for a couple of minutes there toward the middle. Nothing to be proud of and I was pretty upset. I paid $12 to see the ending of this trilogy and it bored me to sleep.

Also random British depowered Bane annoyed the shit out of me. Yes, I know he's technically half british, but that was established in comics literally years after he was introduced and after tiresome story arcs all about how he was trying to whittle down who his real father was from four potential baby daddies, including Thomas Wayne. I never got the impression that Bane saw himself as a white man in San Prisca, especially considering one of those potential baby daddies was also a local like his mother. I think he just wanted to know who his father was and otherwise identified with his prison life and the island culture.

I mean that's like saying 'no, he can't be full blooded latino, he's so light skinned!' Latino's from Central and South America and many Caribbeans come in pretty much every shade.

The same origin they shoe-horned in as part of Talia's origin. I was pretty much at table flipping at that point in the movie.
