I don't want to see Kid Loki revert to his old self (because that would be kind of redundant), but I also really don't want to see his character become the 'good guy'. Maybe it's just me, but I love Loki's character because of his villainy- not to mention it's just too easy and underwhelming a way to instantly change Loki to the good side and patch up his relationship with Thor.
I'm personally hoping to see Loki continue to use questionable means to achieve his goals, increasingly so for his own selfish purposes, especially as his methods keep getting criticized and under-appreciated. It does sound like there's going to be increasing tension between Thor and Loki in the Everything Burns storyline.

I hope he stays on the side of the angels, mostly. As you say, he's best when he's using underhanded methods. But I dunno, I'm a sucker for someone who's not inherently a good guy trying, in spite of their own worse nature, to be a good person. (*snif* I miss Max Lord.) I hope Loki manages to keep it up for a while yet.

And, not gonna lie, it's kinda tragi-funny, the way he's always going to hell and back to save everyone, and at the end of it, they're all still pissed off at him for whatever reason.
