their career choices especially threw me off. i mean i could see chef!matt and fashiondesigner!mimi but they switched up all the things that made sense (though okay fine i was glad joe got to be some sort of doctor person). as for the whole tk/kari thing -- i have to agree because i legit LOVED them in season one, especially kari, but their season two selves were ridiculous and overdramatic and i wanted to shout STOP BEING SO DRAMATIC. YOU ARE ELEVEN/TWELVE or something? whatev. i find that 02 was more entertaining on repeat viewings because the new kids were kind of funny and it gave me ken/daisuke, which was pretty great.

(oh and uh my fandom secret? pretty sure the best thing about the epilogue to me was that we never knew who tai married bc 10 year old me totally wanted to be the one to marry him...there, i said it.)
