I kind of like it that way. The elaborate relationships and backstories I came up with for Morrowind NPCs (who were all basically information boards) were far more entertaining than if they'd tried to give everyone a personality. Same for Skyrim.

I like it this way. Now my Dovahkiin can be alpha wolf in her relationship with Farkas and completely dominate him in bed and it's still 100 % in character.

Me too. I just can't deal with the guilt, especially when it's Lydia. If only you could shout "fire in the hole!" when you're casting a fireball spell so they could get out of the way in time...

Yep. My Lydia only gets bows now, because I use a battleaxe most of the time and reloading whenever she ran in front of me mid-power attack got old really quickly. Just letting her stay dead is not an option.

i apparently caught lydia on fire or smth but i didn't realise she was gone until like an hour later and i went back to find her body for ~confirmation

i wasn't that attached to her so i didn't bother restarting, almost did with jenassa tho lol

i'm guessing marcurio hasn't died at the clumsy hands of yours truly because he does more long-range stuff, at least for me. he's a fight-picker though, like one time i'm just wandering around minding my own bizzo when the whole earth starts shaking and i turn around and fucking marcurio has attacked an innocent mammoth, completely unprovoked

and not only did he invoke its wrath but also the wrath of the other mammoth nearby and the giant who owned it

so yeah gj there buddy
