It's not just /b/. I used to frequent /y/ and every tenth thread or so shota would pop up. Some of it like Po-Ju's work were very artistic and very well done so I don't blame anyone for checking it out. Personally I don't see any harm in fake child porn. And visp is right. Most of it is too whacky to be anything close to the real thing.

But you don't even have to go to /b/, there are random!lolicon threads on /a/ and /v/ as well from time to time. Especially on /a/, where some troll opens with the copypasta "You lolicons are all filthy pedophiles" and BOOM 500+ lolicon images for hours on the first page.
