Are you saying that young individuals who can do things that seem too mature for them should not be allowed to, or that older individuals who some people think should not do certain things should be allowed to on the basis that they can?

I'm saying that looking at things that people do when they have no other choice shouldn't be the baseline for what we should be aiming for in terms of responsibility.

Thiiiiiisssssss pretty sure you're missing the fact that all your examples come from THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES, OP. Give your head a shake. Yes, kids do what they have to, at whatever age, to see that they and their families survive, WHEN YOU ARE LIVING IN PURE SURVIVAL MODE.

Take it from me, OP, that's no way to live a life. Let alone a childhood. Which it isn't.

Not that I'm defending 40-year-old Comic Book Guy or anything; that's bad too. But a little moderation, surely, cannot be a bad thing?
