This, so much.

I mean, yes if you most likely are going to die at around thirty, it totally makes sense to have children as soon as possible, so you have time to rear them till their puberty.
Plus, if you live in a small tribe where it is all abut hunting and gathering and not, say programming or operating heavy machinery, you don't need that much time to acquire both social and 'professional' skills needed for you to life life that is considered successful by the standards of the time/place. The amount of skills needed to be a good (effective) parent is low too. So the amount of responsibility and risks that a person takes upon themselves when they enter sexual relationship corresponds with what a barely-pubescent human is both able and capable to do.
In a modern society? Not so much.
