What I do is rummage through my cleaning supply closet for a pack of extra-absorbent paper towels. From there, I go lock myself in the bathroom where I cry while curled up on the floor. It's okay because I clean the mess up later.


But seriously, I know how you feel. I have a problem where I have to snarf everything fan-related within reach, and then I just get burned out and have to abandon the fandom for some refractory-like period. Pacing is very hard for me because I'm impulsive towards anything remotely pleasurable, but you really do have to work on that.

But when I just can't, and I'm absolutely out of things to browse, I make fanwork. I entertain myself with shitty things I make out of desperation. Well I call them "shitty" now, in hindsight, but when I'm making them, they're fucking brilliant.
