When I was 12-13, I was super jealous of this friend of mine (who was the same age as me) who seemed to write very deep fanfics, with lots of complicated words. There wasn't a lot going on story-wise, but her writing style just seemed so much better than my own. She could also write much faster than I could. Because of this, I hated everything I wrote, because it didn't contain the same complicated vocabulary that she used and I didn't think it was very "deep". I seriously wished I could "trade writing styles" with this person. Eventually I stopped writing altogether.
I started writing again when I was 16 and I didn't care about it anymore. Going back to writing felt really awesome - I almost forgot how good it felt. I decided to keep writing for myself, because it made me feel so much better. I then started publishing my fics online again when I was 17-18 and people seem to like them. It's really a good feeling and I think it was a bit stupid of me to stop writing for so long. I now like my style of writing and I wouldn't trade it with anyone else for anything in the world. I practiced and practiced and now I'm able to write my fanfics directly in English, while my friend (the one I was jealous of) has admitted that she could never do that. She now doesn't even like her old fics and her old style, the same style I was so jealous of.
So, you see, OP, I can understand how you feel. But as the anon has said, all you need is practice. Some people may seem to have a "gift" at doing some stuff better than you, but I don't think anyone is a genius at something from the minute they're born. You have a lot of time ahead of you to practice, so I'd just suggest focusing your energies on your writing - believe me, it's more productive and especially worth it. :)
