Why was my secret in the failbar (not!secret to be precise)? I thought I made it pretty clear why it wasn't something I was open with--everytime I've mentioned it, I've gotten a reply saying they old or too muscle-y or so forth. I'm obviously bias, but I thought a lot of the other secrets posted in this batch were more suitable for the failbar than mine.

Stuff like "where is the fandom?" "where is the fic?" "does anyone else ship this?" have never really been secrets unless there's some part of it that makes it more than just a shout-out/reach-out. There's nothing personal secret about something like "No one ships this. People should shop it. Does everyone not ship it?" - that's just kind of asking the community a question or telling them something.

Meanwhile, something like what you just said: "every time I bring up the subject of this ship, people say they're too old or muscley and I can't find fic and it makes me sad. I feel like the only one who ships these guys" - would be a personal secret. Hope that makes sense?

Yeah, it makes sense--which is why I wrote it on the secret! I mean, sure, I didn't make it such a long sentence or center everything around that point, but it WAS there.
