congrats on your cat coming home, i'm really happy for you! coincidentally i am also missing a feline member of my family but i think he's gone for good. :( my mother thought maybe he ran off to die somewhere (he's super old and senile) but there were no traces of him anywhere, so now we're thinking he was picked up, especially since other members of our complex have been calling animal control over ferals around here.

but he's friendly and he meows, is well-fed and loves people so you'd think they would have gathered he was a pet...

anyway we're still looking for him, it's been about a week for us. i sure hope we find him. i wonder where he is now.

regarding the no-friends thing, i'm the same way. i always sign up for social networking sites and then realise i have nobody to add and no means by which to find people to add, hehe. that's mostly why i participate here, i'm hoping i make some friends eventually.
the only place i've really been successful in connecting with people has been epicmafia?? so if you like to play mafia, you might want to try that (though it helps to set yourself apart from other people, even if it means some people will love you and others will hate you).

oh, I'm sorry about your cat! I hope he's ok and that you find him. The worst part is just having no idea what could have happened. =(

I don't really know what epicmafia is, I might have to give it a look. Thanks! And I'd like to make some friends here too, since I'm not really that close to anyone. The problem is that often I can't find anything I want to comment on, so I'm like a semi-lurker most of the time. I need to put myself out there more, but then I just feel like I could be annoying people. You can't win sometimes.

EM is silly and there are a lot of trolls (and sometimes mean people) but i've taken a liking to it. maybe you will too.
