This. In my experience there are only certain games that I can be evil in too. Fable I'm okay with but I could never just go around slaughtering characters in Fallout.

So...er, let's just be glad you never get that power OP, so you aren't put to the test.

Me too! Like ME/DA, I can never do different playthroughs because I'm all BUT I LOVE YOU GUYS ;_; HAVE A HUG! and feel really really bad when I do or say something evil. Fable(1, y'know, the only real one) has been one of the only games where playing evil was actually fun to me.

Being evil is way worse in games like ME & DA where the characters are fleshed out and so many of them are likable. Like, even when I've been bad in Bioware games, I still won't off my companions or not recruit them, and I'll spare some of the NPC's because I love them too much - that sort of thing. In Mass Effect I can be renegade but only to a certain extent, and ME3 seems to have done away with that 'certain extent' thing. IDK if I could ever go through that game as a renegade, which sucks, because I LOVED being renegade in the other games.

Renegade does have some fun options, but I was always a little worried when choosing renegade in case it's actually a worse option that it looks like, or makes me lose important Paragon points that I'd need for future conversations :(

I did enjoy punching that quarian admiral though. One of the best moments in the game ever,

Yea, that's why I usually do a renegade and paragon run. Sometimes several runs with variations. You mostly have to stick to one or the other if you want to max out convo options.

And mine is probably punching the reporter (predictable, I know), and a certain renegade option after a boss in ME3.

I can slaughter "innocent" characters as long as I don't save it. Like, sometimes I like to visit the Ultra-Luxe (New Vegas) with a minigun and let loose, or cause havoc on the Strip. But, I feel really bad if actually have to save the kill of a not so bad person.

And, I felt really bad and rape-y when I had sex with that drugged up woman at the Gomorrah.

Huh, maybe I'm too nice a player to understand the appeal playing an evil character.

Yea, I can understand doing it if you don't save it, because you're curious or whatever. I've never let loose on the strip because I'd probably be killed alarmingly quick, hehe, but I've went on rampages in other games then reloaded.

Don't think I've ever had sex with a drugged up woman in Gomorrah...but then again both my carrier's are saints and I don't think I've done much stuff in Gomorrah yet. At least you feel bad about it? That's a good sign imo, even if it is just virtually.

I can see the appeal because of games like Knights of the Old Republic...but all in all being evil just isn't for me. Some of us it isn't.

The woman is Joana and the quest is "Bye Bye Love." I think you have to have a decently high medical skill to figure out she's drugged up. And, I'm not sure she's bi if you play a female. (I play as a m!courier.)

Erg. This thread is making want to play Fallout. It's been a while.

Oh, that quest! I did do that, but I took the caps instead. Plus, my m!courier is gay (my f!courier is bi) anyway. That was a fun one, actually. I still haven't done the follow up though.

I know. :( And I never even beat it, and still have plenty of DLC to play...I should get on that. Did you complete the main quest?

I have issues with completing games. I don't know. I think it's why I like the Sims so much-- it just goes on and on if you want it to.

So, no. I'm super close on one game, (like I could probably beat in about three hours), but then I decided I wanted to play almost a straight melee character so I've been playing him for a while. The only DLCs I haven't beat are Dead Money (ohmygod, so stressful and nightmares forever) and Lonesome Road.

Old World Blues and Honest Hearts are super fun. Love those DLCs so much.

It depends on the game for me, but sometimes I'm the same. I can mostly beat games like Halo, Gears of War and BioShock with no problem, but some of the longer more complex ones I get a bit lost or disinterested in and have to come back later, and either never finish or finish waaay late. Hence my issue with the Fallout games, despite loving them. The Sims is great because no matter how long you've been away you can just pick up and play.

Ah, you did good then. I don't think I ever got further than halfway through the main campaign. :( And I don't recall hearing much about Dead Money...now I'm worried, lol. I didn't expect nightmare material, though to be fair idk why because Point Lookout creeped the hell out of me (and it wasn't even that bad!).

The only one I've got to is Lonesome Road, which so far has been...interesting, and story-wise quite enjoyable; that said, I'll be glad to be done with it too.
