We got any shift workers up ins

The constantly screwing with your sleeping pattern is pretty shitty.

But you get whole trains to your self in the morning, that feeling of being the only person awake in the world is pretty great, and it's nice to be free when everything is open. No faffing about trying to set up GPs appointments or whatever.

Plus unlike just working nights you actually get to see the sun every once in a while.

I work third shift and love it for the most part. When I work OT, it really screws up my sleeping pattern. But if I work no OT days, I stay up on Friday after I get off work and go to bed around 7-10PM and wake up really early Saturday morning. It makes me feel like I'm not wasting my weekend.

I've come to find that I enjoy nights, don't mind mornings, but despise afternoons. Driving at night just seems so much more relaxing to me. Less drivers to worry about, and you're not fighting with the sun glares/heat.

+1 I know there's much earlier but I just recently started getting up at six MWF to be at school by seven and I'm done at noon and it's great.

I work shifts but it's rotational and I'm rarely working more than 2 days the same shift in a row, except for night shifts.

I have to admit it's nice walking home from work at 6am watching the sunrise, though I have been guilty of comparing them unfavourably to Skyrim ones :P

I'm rotating shift pattern too.

Normally I'm one 'week' (six to eight days on depending) on mornings - six thirty to two, and one 'week' evenings two to eleven.

Over the olympics I've been two days morning, switching to two evening, switching to two night.

It's been killing me, I don't know how you do it.

I don't know how I do it either. Rotating shifts suck, so I feel your pain. The shift penalties console me though, lol.

I've been in it for about 2.5 years and I'm over it - constantly tired, no social life, and my health is slowly degrading. I'm hoping not for much longer, though.

I work mornings and afternoons, but rarely evenings, especially with my lame ass commute. When I lived 5 mins away night shift was much less of an issue.

Might have to take a few extra nights next week though, but that's okay. I could use the few extra bucks because my iPhone 3GS keeps trying to kick the bucket and the 5 is around the corner.... :P
