"Fake it till you make it"? Waiting around for shit to get rolling, rather than forcing yourself to get out, kind of keeps you stuck in that lethargy.

But it's definitely rough when work is hard to come by, and I can relate to the depression that numerous unsuccessful interviews and applications brings :(
I hope you find a job soon, and that you get out and start making ADVENTURES ♥

When I first started reading Homestuck, I was unemployed, broke, depressed, and living with my parents. When I finished reading (what had been posted so far of) it, I had just gotten a job and am now none of the above and much, much happier. Obviously, Homestuck wasn't responsible for fixing my problems, but it kept me company and made me laugh and gave me an escape right when I needed it most. I'd recommend it to anyone in that position, so I'm really glad you've got it in your life.

(The day after I finished either my first readthrough or first reread - I forget which it was now - I took the proofreading test I needed to pass as a condition of employment at my new job. To reiterate: I had to take a proofreading test immediately after weeks of marathoning Homestuck. Pretty sure I aced it, too, which I'm keeping in mind in case I ever start to doubt my abilities as an editor.)
