I...gotta say I've never seen this before.

I have seen ones where both Hawkeye and Black Widow were booted off, and Loki was included as an 'Avenger' rather than, y'know, a cast member, but never seen ScarJo specifically being excluded.

There's a series of pictures where each Avenger was in a class of some beverage--no Black Widow, but Loki was in a glass of wine. And among group photos, including Loki while excluding Black Widow is a pretty common thing, or was. It's a legit complaint.

Oh...was. As in before the Avengers came out, when she was just mega-blatant eye-candy from IM2? Yeah okay, that I understand.

Nope, still happening. Around the Olympics someone did art where each of the rings was an Avenger, and it was Iron Man, Thor, Cap, Hulk, and Loki.

Never mind that archery is actually an Olympic sport.

This sort of thing is much more prevalent now than it was pre-Avengers.

booting both Natasha and Clint doesn't seem as problematic. That's more getting rid of the "normals" rather than trading the only female for the villain.

"Was" means the last time I looked at fan-Avengers art, in this case. That was about a month ago. :)

the disney store sells merchandise (shirts, water bottles, and mugs) that feature all of the avengers but black widow, but not loki.
