Re: Writing circles, giving feedback

Not the most innovative tip, and quite possibly something you already do, but jotting down some notes as or right after you read (or listen)? As far as other people bringing up your points first, I would still echo them quickly, so the writer knows it's a popular opinion, and if you can it might help to add your own specific example from the work. If you blank out, just apologize and laugh and say you have a hard time keeping your thoughts in order. Writing groups should support more than just the written word :)
