Notes:
Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally misclicked and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (about 100 or so) are gone.
If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here.
The submissions post for next week is below as usual.
Secrets Left to Post: ?? pages, ??? secrets from Secret Submission Post #296.
Secrets Not Posted: [ 0 - broken links ], [ 0 - not!secrets ], [ 0 - not!fandom ], [ 0 - too big ], [ 0 - repeat ].
Current Secret Submissions Post: here.
Suggestions, comments, and concerns should go here.

Like this version Sherlock.
or the doctor in doctor whoI remember I played back that scene where John punches and tackles him in SiB so many times. Best loop of vicarious rage.

Oh God, yes
possibly more satisfying than the gif of Joffrey getting slapped

That reminds me, I love me a Joffrey slap. Although having this play in the background makes it sound rather awful. Like "inappropriate thank hell my headphones are on" awful.

Also he deserved this.

Like Irene Adler actually BEAT Sherlock, but you know whatever

Dude is always right at the end of each episode, whether it's his intuition, solving the cases, or having the upper hand. About the only time he technically loses is in TRF, which is about everyone else being deceived really.

Dude is always right at the end of each episode
I'll quote my post since I deleted it:
"Yes, the BBC version of Sherlock is so infallible he's managed to catch ONE WHOLE villain!
Wait."
I never said he wasn't clever, or didn't solve the crime, but to me, an "infallible" (that was the term you used) detective wouldn't just be right, he'd actually catch the bad guys, too. Sherlock repeatedly fails to do that:
SiP: The cabbie talks Sherlock into doing something suicidally stupid--John saves his ass.
TBB: Shan escapes. Who's to say she couldn't have re-started her business if Jim hadn't had her killed?
TGG: As you say, Sherlock loses here.
SiB: That's the "one" I was talking about.
Hound: The guy seemed to have quite a lead on Sherlock&Co. Had he not stumbled into the minefield, who knows what might have happened? Yeah, they might have caught him, but we don't actually see that happen.
TRF: Moriarty ruins Sherlock's reputation and forces him to (fake) kill himself. And while Moriarty dies, he does it on his own terms.
Again, explain to me as an infallible character lets so many bad guys slip through his fingers?

I'm on the "always being right" part of the infallibility, and how anyone who is skeptical (eg: Sally, Anderson, Lestrade and Dimmock even) is portrayed as wrong for being so. Not so much the catching part, since of course he stumbles all over the place with his social fail and underestimating people, yet they all fall anyways (except, again, Moriarty since that ep was kind of a subversion of the original).
nothing happened in this small text ♥

"BAI PRETTY LADY"

Yeah, I didn't really want to get into the stupidity of the end of ASiB...

I like this interpretation, or aim of the show whatever, btw. The whole hubris angle makes better sense to me, with his ego/maturity being the biggest hurdle to not screwing up. 'Infallible' might not have been the right word, but I'm having trouble coming up with one that closely describes exactly what I initially meant.
