i actually would love to know this sherlock in real life. in fact, if i ever met anybody half as serious and intense and straightforward as he is, i would probably die of happiness before we had a chance to become acquainted.

I think he would be very interesting, if a little exasperating - to know in real life.

I always get a little twitchy when a character like that (or like House) demonstrates that they won't 'play normal' and everybody still acts all surprised and shocked. Silly people.
