Notes:
Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally misclicked and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (about 100 or so) are gone.
If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here.
The submissions post for next week is below as usual.
Secrets Left to Post: ?? pages, ??? secrets from Secret Submission Post #296.
Secrets Not Posted: [ 0 - broken links ], [ 0 - not!secrets ], [ 0 - not!fandom ], [ 0 - too big ], [ 0 - repeat ].
Current Secret Submissions Post: here.

Re: Thesis motivation, please?
(Anonymous) 2012-09-04 02:50 am (UTC)(link)When I was in grad school, I was so sure that everyone else was a total hot shot and I completely sucked and it was difficult to find the motivation to work on my thesis because I was certain it would be terrible. Then I started attending conferences and watching people make presentations and reading some of what my classmates were writing and I realized that not all of it was gold.
So, you are better at this than you think and more of an expert than you think and you can do it!
Re: Thesis motivation, please?
(Anonymous) 2012-09-04 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)You're right: I know more about this specific topic than anybody on my committee. I know that's obvious, but sometimes you need someone else to say it to realize it. Thank you so much.
*hugs*
