I suppose. I didn't know people took those things so seriously. For me I don't see that there's any shame to be had in being a lesser fan of the franchise as a whole and being a fan of individual characters instead. It's not like people owe it to the fandom to like certain characters.

I think that's the core different here, the people this MATTERS to. For me this is just about if I'm going to look for more of your work or not. I'm not gonna message anybody over their inaccurate fanart. But won't defend it either.
