wow, if he actually used the word "retarded" though (I didn't hear/read the spiel) then in some way's he's less progressive than many people here are giving him credit for. That's disappointing. (I'm neutral on the spiel itself since I haven't heard it, and agree that creationism shouldn't be taught in schools, but disagree that parents should be prevented from teaching it)

There's a reason I used the word "if", anon. Also thanks for being really condescending and assholeish to me. You make me very much not want to watch the video (which btw I had no idea how long it was and I hadn't happen to have seen or even heard of it before this conversation happened, so bite me)
