Notes:

Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally misclicked and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (about 100 or so) are gone.

If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here.

The submissions post for next week is below as usual.

Secrets Left to Post: ?? pages, ??? secrets from Secret Submission Post #296.
Secrets Not Posted: [ 0 - broken links ], [ 0 - not!secrets ], [ 0 - not!fandom ], [ 0 - too big ], [ 0 - repeat ].
Current Secret Submissions Post: here.
Suggestions, comments, and concerns should go here.

I disagree that face-to-face means jack shit in this day and age. I agree that online friends can become real life friends, but online friends may not necessarily live by you, in which case you will see them more than likely not very often at all. Meeting someone face to face who lives in your area makes it easier to socialize OUTSIDE of a computer on a relatively day to day basis. You build experiences that exist outside of an online world.

In addition online friends are easier to lose touch of. They can disappear without any notice or forewarning, or you lose touch because you may no longer frequent the same fandoms or games, etc.

Granted I love my online friends and I'm not saying you shouldn't be friends with people online. I just find it so much more awarding when I can actually go out and DO things with my friends that are outside of a computer.
