Agreed.

I'd argue that they're more interesting because they haven't gotten their own movies to flesh them out more- They've appeared in others, yeah, and Natasha and Loki had pretty significant roles in the other movies they were in, but they weren't the focus (honestly I think we got more interesting insight into Loki's character in the Thor deleted and extended scenes than we got in the final cut of the movie movie). Their character arcs don't feel anywhere close to complete, and they're obviously going somewhere, but we have no idea where, and that alone makes them, to me at least, a lot more compelling than characters like Tony or Thor, whose arcs feel pretty complete.
