I feel like the only one in this thread kinda bummed by how many people are picking on the OP for being a girl. You're a girl so obviously you can't tell that a poem about two gay guys is horribly written! You think you can do better but you're a girl and that author is a more legitimate writer somehow even if his poem sounds like bad fanfic! You don't have to be a gay man to tell that writing is bad even it's about gay men.

I mean, it's rude to laugh yeah but acting like she can't possibly be right about the poem being bad, because she's a girl and can't judge the quality of gay men's writing? Seriously? :\

Her laughing and being rude doesn't mean that she was wrong about the quality of the poem, or that she has no right to judge the quality of the writing because she's not a gay guy.

The poem was bad. She reacted in a rude way. Both can be true at once and there's no need to be all ~a girl thinks she can judge, hdu bring your female self into this~ or whatever.

Gay men apparently have a magical skill that makes them write every m/m relationship flawlessly and realistically.

Though I do wonder, except for the picture used we have no indicator that it's actually a girl.

Where does the OP say s/he's a girl? The only identifying information I saw there was "I'm not straight either." Nothing about gender there that I saw. Or is the OP a girl because only girls have difficulty controlling their laughter?
